🔥 Deck Overview
Commander: Karumonix, the Rat King
This deck is all about turning every small rat into a real threat. Karumonix gives your whole army toxic 1, letting you win games quickly by stacking up poison counters. Combine this with cards that let you draw and refill your hand, and you’ll have no trouble keeping the pressure up.
🌿 Core Strategy
Karumonix grants all your rats toxic 1 and lets you refill your hand by digging through your library for more rats. Each rat you play adds to the swarm, and each attack brings your opponents closer to the edge of defeat. Infectious Inquiry and other poison-based spells help you get poison counters on everyone even without combat, ensuring your victory through toxic overload.
⚔️ Key Creatures & Spells
Blightbelly Rat and Ichor Rats – stack those poison counters fast!
Ogre Slumlord – flood the board with even more rats.
Village Rites and Corrupted Conviction – draw cards off your disposable rats while getting even more triggers.
Hero’s Downfall and Drown in Ichor – take out key threats and keep your momentum going.
Crippling Fear – weaken your opponents’ defenses so your rats can get in for those final poison counters.
💎 Ramp & Mana Support
Wayfarer's Bauble and Mind Stone help you ramp up quickly.
Icon of Ancestry gives your rats a huge boost, and Sol Ring keeps you ahead on mana.
